About us

A passion for
Schnauzers

We're a family in Chico, California who fell hard for this breed — and decided to do it properly.

Our story

Every puppy starts
in our living room

Schnauzers in Paradise is dedicated to raising well-loved and well-adjusted Miniature Schnauzers. We believe every dog deserves a loving home, and we take that responsibility seriously — from the pairings we choose to the family we hand each puppy to.

Our puppies come from healthy bloodlines, receive proper veterinary care, and are raised in a nurturing environment. They're not tucked away in a back room. They're in the thick of it — with our kids, our noise, our routine.

We prioritize early socialization, training, and health screening so that what you bring home is a confident companion, not a project.

Confident, friendly, and well-adjusted from day one thanks to structured early handling.

Health guarantee

Healthy bloodlines and ethical breeding focused on temperament, structure, and wellbeing.

The parents

Where the temperament comes from

Good puppies start with good parents. Ours are family dogs first — health-tested, well-structured, and lovely to live with.

Titan, a Miniature SchnauzerOur sire

Titan

A striking chocolate-and-white parti with pale eyes and a thick, plush coat — a lot of our unique colouring comes from him.

Lucille, a Miniature SchnauzerOur girl

Lucille

A black with silver points — crisp silver eyebrows, beard and legs against a deep black coat, with dense furnishings. A family dog first, and part of the household.

Miss Marlo, a Miniature SchnauzerOur girl

Miss Marlo

A chocolate girl with a soft, easy way about her. She's a family dog first — she just happens to be beautiful.

Thor, a Miniature SchnauzerRetired sire

Thor

A confident parti boy who's now enjoying retirement. His pups have gone home to families all over Northern California — and their owners still send us photos years later.
